Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Assistant Professor role at Brescia University in the MS clinical psychology program. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching three graduate courses in the fall and three in the spring in a high-flex format, in which classrooms include on-site and on-line students. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining course materials, mentoring and advising students on coursework and career, conducting research and assisting students with research projects, and participating in departmental activities and university-wide committees. A commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarly activities, and service to the institution and community are expected. Ideally, role and expectations can be discussed and tailored to ideal candidates.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology, or other favorable to APA accreditation
• Experience providing clinical services (HSP) and licensable at the doctoral level in Kentucky
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
• Commitment to student engagement and success
• Experience in curriculum and program development is a plus
